Hearing aid battery distribution and repair
Batteries are available free of charge from your local library or mobile library for your NHS hearing aid. You can find details of library opening times on our library directory.
There is currently a national shortage of size 312 hearing aid batteries which has resulted in a delay in Edinburgh Libraries receiving supplies. The delay means that some libraries are now running out of 312 size batteries.
If you’re going to your local library to collect 312 batteries, please phone the library in advance to see if they have any in stock.
The supply shortage only affects 312 batteries. Other battery sizes are still available.
